It looks like the Hawks are on their way to secure another Eastern Conference playoff spot this year.
While that indeed is good news, it looks like the Hawks will not be winning any Southeast Division titles anytime soon. The Hawks are 4-7 against the division.
With Saturday’s loss, the Hawks are 1-3 vs. Miami this year, haven’t beaten the Magic, 1-1 vs. the Bobcats with two left to play and have beaten a very depleted Washington team (but hasn’t everybody?)
For more perspective, The Hawks are 17-6 in the Conference outside the division and 19-9 against the Western Conference.
