For the past two seasons, the Atlanta Hawks are 6-8 against the Orlando Magic. While that record may not seem like a big deal, consider that Orlando was a third seed last season in the East and is currently holding on to that same position this season.

Atlanta has trouble with Boston, Cleveland gives them fits, but a couple of  games against Orlando have been close: A loss 106-102 in early January and Saturday’s six point defeat. In fact, with the Hawks winning the first meeting between these two, the only game that wasn’t close was the 121-87 beatdown on January 9.

Still, I think people love to see the Magic when they come to Philips. They’re a good team, a division rival and Dwight Howard loves coming back to his hometown and the fans’ feelings are mutual.

I wouldn’t mind seeing these guys again. Maybe in the playoffs? Hopefully, the results will be better the next time.
